EFFECTIVENESS OF JATROPHA CURCAS (Jatropha curcas) AS A BURN HEALING GEL PREPARATION

This study aims to determine the formulation of jatropha curcas gel preparations as a burn healer, characteristics and physical properties preparations, theeffectiveness ofjatropha healer.
 The method in this used an experimental with five treatments. treatments are: P1 (4% sap), P2 (8% P3 (16% P4 (Negative control), P5 (Positive Control).
 results showed that positively contained saponin compounds had healing effect male white rats (Rattus novergicus). Thejatropha has been shown have on burns novergicus) concentration 16% providing best occurrence 100% (wound closure) third day, followed by 8% occurring sixth 4% ninth day.
